My Project

My school is in a rural area of Nebraska. We serve preschool through 12th grade in the same school building. I teach music to preschool through 12th-grade students and get to see every single student in preschool through 8th grade multiple times per week.

We currently have more varied opportunities to explore rhythm than pitch, as we can make rhythmic instruments out of everyday items.

The bulk of our pitched experiences are done through singing, as we do not have any pitched instruments in our classroom. We would love the opportunity to explore pitched instruments in our music program!

Mrs. Consbruck will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by August 14.
