My Project
A classroom rug is an important learning space in the classroom. The classroom rug is literally the center of our classroom. Most learning takes place on the classroom rug during whole group instruction, or independent work time when they just want to be cozy. This rug will be new and inviting and provide a happy and safe place for my students.
Students start the day with community meeting on our rug and will engage in countless learning opportunities on the classroom rug throughout the day.
This rug helps students establish boundaries, find their own space, and assist with daily routines. I hope to have this rug for next school year. This is a project that will continue to give back to my future students for many, many years.
