This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom has continued to become a really "homey" environment that my students utilize when learning. They get incredibly comfy and cozy as they are learning and diving into the curriculum with flexible seating.

The one thing missing, is a classroom rug to tie it all together.

I would love to have a central meeting spot to sit with my students, have a class meeting and then send them on their way to explore the curriculum. We focus on utilizing flexible seating in our classroom, and the rug would open up more of the floor space!
