This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I really want my students to feel safe and comfortable in my room! This classroom rug is going to be placed in the front of the classroom. It is going to be used for whole group learning, story time, morning meetings, small group projects and much more. It will give all the students a safe spot to sit, that is their own. This is my 10th year teaching in the Bronx. I love teaching kindergarten!!! Watching the growth throughout the year is just amazing and rewarding!!! I want to be able to give my students everything they need to succeed!
