This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are inquisitive, compassionate and creative third graders. We are a magnet school with all students receiving free lunch and breakfast. They have adapted to the changes with COVID in our school. Each day they come to school excited to learn! My students could use a classroom rug and headphones to soar to success in third grade. The classroom rug will serve as a comfortable meeting spot and help us build a positive classroom community. I plan on using the classroom rug for small group instruction as well. Third graders work daily on individual computer programs, which makes it a necessity to have a set of classroom headphones to facilitate a quiet working time.
