Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A new carpet for our classroom will add a new comfy, cozy space for students to learn within our classroom.
We will come to the rug to learn, share ideas, and enjoy stories read aloud.
The rug will provide a space for students to interact with each other in partners or small groups. It will also allow a space for teacher led small groups that are more interactive and comfortable.
It helps to build community as it encourages more interaction. This rug is large enough for all of us to be able to use it on a daily basis. It will be a wonderful addition to our classroom learning environment.
