My 2nd grade students spend a lot of their day at the carpet doing a variety of activities including whole group instruction, center activities, games, etc. We currently do not have a rug in our classroom so it is difficult for students to sit in an organized way. My students need a space of their own to sit comfortably, and a large classroom rug can provide just that! With a large rug, students have an assigned space of their own to sit and participate in the many activities we do at the carpet and focus on their learning.
