My Project
My students are curious, capable, and full of potential but many face steep challenges. I teach 3rd grade at a Title I school where 100% of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch. Most come from low-income households with limited access to books, games, and reading support at home. Despite this, they show up every day eager to learn.
To help bridge reading gaps and build foundational skills, I’m requesting vocabulary games, sight word activities, leveled books, and storage bins to keep everything organized and accessible.
These resources will transform our classroom into a literacy-rich environment where students can engage with words through play, hands-on activities, and independent reading.
