We are using the new resources to provide students with a welcoming space where they can take a moment to reset, regulate their emotions, refocus, and return to learning. The resources have also helped make our classroom feel more like a community, a place where students know that their academic success and emotional well-being both matter.\r\nThe excitement on my students' faces when they first saw the new materials was priceless! They immediately noticed the changes and were eager to explore the space. One of the greatest impacts has been watching students begin to recognize when they need a quiet moment and then return to instruction more focused and prepared to participate. These are important skills that extend far beyond our classroom and help students develop independence, self-awareness, and responsibility.\r\nAs we continue through the school year, we will build upon these skills by incorporating social-emotional learning into our daily classroom routines while continuing to strengthen our reading, communication, and collaboration skills. Because of your kindness, my students have more than new classroom materials, they have a space designed to remind them that they are valued, cared for, and capable of success. To see them excited to pick out a bag and put items in them were truly a blessing. They fit perfectly and discreetly inside their backpack and for the young ladies who carry purses, the items were great for them. The kits provide the essential supplies, education, and reassurance they need when experiencing their first period. By having access to pads, wipes, underwear, and other personal care items, girls can feel prepared, confident, and less embarrassed when menstruation begins, especially while at school. These kits also help promote good hygiene, reduce anxiety, and encourage girls to view their menstrual cycle as a normal and healthy part of growing up.\r\n\r\nThe goal of this project is to ensure that no girl experiences her first period or unexpected period at school feeling afraid, embarrassed, unprepared, or alone. Technology in today's classroom goes far beyond simply using devices—it helps students build independence, strengthen academic skills, and engage with learning in ways that meet their individual needs. The Kindle eReader has expanded students' access to books at various reading levels and interests, allowing them to practice reading more confidently and develop a greater love for literacy. The wireless headphones have also been extremely helpful during reading and math intervention programs by allowing students to focus without distractions and work at their own pace.\r\n\r\nThe students are especially excited about using the Kindle in our classroom reading center.
