Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach Spanish grades 9-12 and even though I buy materials for my students, I always come short. Students are always in need of materials for the class especially of paper. In order to keep things organized in my class I ask students to use composition notebooks. The majority of the students do not have a problem bringing materials but there are students who need me to provide them with certain materials. I usually buy composition books to give them to those students that might need one. These composition notebooks will help me provide those that need it with one. Additionally, the grouping pens will help me get students in groups in a faster and more efficient way. The maps will help me show students were Spanish-speaking countries are and the flashcards will help me help students with vocabulary words especially the visual learners.
