This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I work at a Title One public school and teach 34, second grade, ELL students who are bright and eager to learn new things. Most students come from very poor economic background, but they come to school everyday with a passion to learn and succeed.

My Project

Everyday we use our mini whiteboards to practice Math concepts and the students will often tell me that their markers are out of ink. I want to help these learners maximize their math abilities and having a lot of markers will help them be able to practice and achieve this goal. We'll utilize the headphones during our technology time to minimize the noise and help all students concentrate.

My students are curious, dedicated, and ready to learn.

My main goal is to provide students first-class education. If granted, these resources will surely make a difference and help them reach their full potential in life.
