This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are seeking donations to enhance the learning experience of our students through hands-on, experiential activities that foster creativity and critical thinking. The funds will be used to support various project themes, providing our students with the necessary materials for interactive, real-world learning. Additionally, we aim to create a clean and airy classroom environment that promotes focus and well-being, along with purchasing essential organizational supplies, such as a tabletop paper center, and ink to keep our learning organized and efficient. At the end of each day students clean up their area and disinfection with wipes or spray which teaches them self-care and hygiene.
I plan to teach a lesson in the new year about "spring cleaning" as we revamp our room to be more organized.
Students will be using their own creative mind by moving items around in the wagon, having displayed color paper trays for them and batteries for our new switches for math/calendar wheel.
These resources will significantly improve our ability to execute these projects, enriching students' engagement and success. The goal of this project is to inspire students to take ownership of their learning, build confidence in their skills, and prepare them for real-world challenges. Our students are unique because of their resilience, curiosity, and determination to excel despite challenges, and with your support, we can provide them with the tools they need to succeed and thrive.
