Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are mixed general education and special education students who are excited about their upcoming seventh grade school year. 75% of our students qualify to receive reduced-price lunch. My students come from various types of backgrounds and cultures, but they are all "my kids" during the school year.
Students love using classroom supplies for their classwork and book reports.
I am requesting headphones, clipboards, sheet protectors, staples, looseleaf, and backing paper for a classroom refresh.
Sheet protectors help students keep their papers neat and organized in their binders. Staples help us staple their classroom handouts together. Looseleaf helps fill up their binders for classwork. And headphones will help us to listen to websites at their level, including classroom novels.
