My Students

I get to spend my days with about 100 active, intelligent problem solvers, also known as 4th graders.

My students are excited to be in school!!

They are learning what works best for them. They enjoy working and collaborating together. They are encouraged to discuss, ask questions, and share insights together.

My Project

It is after Winter Break and we need some excitement in our 4th grade classroom. My students will be engaged learners when they use the LEARNING RESOURCE Answer Buzzers and Fidget Bracelets in their small groups. We will have so much fun reading on FLASHLIGHT THURSDAYS with our new flashlights.

We LOVE graphic novels.

I am excited to add some Hardy Boys, I Survived, and The Magic Tree House graphic novels to our classroom library. We will pair them with the traditional books of the same series when we compare and contrast them during our class BOOK CLUB. The LAKESHORE magnetic display shelves and display stands will make their favorite read-a-louds easier to find and re-read.

Everyone likes to be rewarded, especially my 4th graders. They are working hard all month to earn tickets for our class drawing. Adding new and different treats and prizes will motivate them to work even harder.
