Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
With this projector, the students will be able to see what we are learning as a whole class and not individual books. We will be able to discuss questions as a class and not as individuals. Key points can be reviewed on the screen or problem areas that students are struggling with can be retaught as a whole. Students will be able to show on the board what they don't understand or struggling with. I can find programs on the computer to do lessons with the students as a whole group project or lesson.
This is so important for all my ELL learners and students with disabilities to see first hand what to do visually, and how to to their work in class daily.
The projector in our classroom helps my students see exactly what I am teaching in any of the subject areas that I teach daily. Using the projector to model my thinking helps my students who are struggling academically, and who are performing on grade level see what they should be doing, and learning day to day.
With a projector in the classroom, I will be able to provide exposure by incorporating technology in daily lessons and allowing students to become more engaged in learning.
