Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my junior high classroom, students face numerous challenges as they navigate the complexities of adolescence, often struggling with emotional regulation, peer relationships, and self-esteem. To foster a positive and engaging environment, I implement a rewards system that recognizes and reinforces students' efforts in developing essential social-emotional skills. By providing fun prizes, I can motivate students to actively participate in lessons, complete assignments, and demonstrate progress in their emotional and social development.
The funds from this project will be allocated to purchasing a variety of prizes that cater to the diverse interests of my students.
By offering these chia pet, doodle boards, and pens, I hope to create a culture of encouragement and positivity, where students feel valued for their hard work and dedication to personal growth.
