In our grade 5 classroom, we want to celebrate positive behaviors and choices. Having these supplies will motivate my students to work towards making positive choices. Many times, the students are only punished and provided consequences. Having all of these different treats for the students will allow us to manage the classroom behaviors by providing positive rewards to the students who make the right choice.
Students are also able to manage their own classroom money.
It allows students to hold money, purchase items at our classroom store and to also know how much change to expect back.
Also in this project I've listed a few items that will improve my teaching. The screen extender will help me to have multiple screens up and transition better from slides to materials. The white board will be used for teaching small group instruction. This will allow me to work anywhere in the room.
I look forward to displaying all of these great rewards at our next classroom store.
