Help me give my students fun drinking straws, coil springs, light up and glow rings, bracelets, multi-color fun pens, snowflake keychains, mini squeeze balls, mini LED keychain flashlights, sequin keychains, and slap bracelets to fill my treasure chest.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting a variety of prizes to replenish my treasure chest. In our classroom, students must read for 20 minutes daily, pass Accelerated Reader quizzes with a comprehension accuracy of 85% or higher, and read enough books to reach their individual point goals. Students earn tickets for their work ethic, following school and classroom rules, and for random acts of kindness. Students look forward to our Fun Friday raffle drawing.
My students would love the 24 drinking straws, 36 coil springs, 50 light up rings, 6 bracelets, 16 multicolor pens, 50 snowflake keychains, 25 mini squeeze balls, 8 LED flashlight keychains, 15 sequin keychains, and 50 slap bracelets that I have requested.
Let's reward hard work. Students must also strive to get 100% in our math program called Next Generation Math. These are the same skills that appear on their math tests. We do this program at the end of the day when students can be tired or fidgety. Sometimes, the chance to earn a prize might help motivate students to strive for the 100% needed to enter our raffle drawing for a prize. Meeting their reading goals will help my students blossom into fluent, confident readers. Won't you help my sweet first graders? Thank you for your consideration!
