it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Five- and six-year-olds are natural, enthusiastic learners. Their impulse to ask questions, to investigate, and to explore, examine, and experiment, comes from a burning curiosity about the world and a desire to understand things. They learn, grow, and internalize through interactive experiences with each other, with adults, and with real materials that use all of their senses. For this reason, I spend careful time planning a diverse learning curriculum, with open-ended activities and hands-on materials, to use throughout the year. In order to deliver this kind of instruction I have to print learning material daily.
Our classroom printer has reached the end of its life after many attempts to fix it and replace printer parts.
It is hands down the most essential and used equipment in my classroom. This printer will allow me to print, copy and scan documents, lessons and activities without missing a beat of classroom instruction. With most of our curriculum platforms being online this printer will allow me to print essential curriculum material. I print material for literacy and math centers as well as science, social studies and phonics multiple times a day. Since our classroom printer has stopped working I have had to utilize the school printer. There are times that the school printer is down, the line is backed up and this classroom printer would eliminate all the stress and hassle of trying to make copies. The printer ink will allow me to continue to print vital classroom material for months to come. The Geek Squad Protection Plan will allow me to get the printer serviced whenever there are any issues with the printer. With our last printer I had to pay for multiple repairs.
Your donations will provide us with the equipment we need to have a classroom with the essentials!
