This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach 7th Grade ELA and Social Studies to English as a New Language (ENL) Students. My school is considered a Title I school, which means the majority of our students qualify for free lunch. Additionally, I teach students who are brand new to the country and learning English for the first time. They are amazing, hard working and demonstrate perseverance every single day.

This project will help my students as we will have access to a printer for our classroom so students can print their work and display it around the room to celebrate their success.
