Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year we have a lot of students who need to have resources in hand, instead of digital copies on computer. By having a color printer in the classroom we will be able to print out needed materials. The colored paper will help students keep track of their materials and ease some of their organization issues. The printer will enable students to have THEIR work printed in class and used during the presentation and sharing of their learning.

Having students share and present their learning is a big part of the NGSS standard we follow in science and the Post-It Easels will allow students to make and present their models of the science concepts they are studying.

Student working in small groups with then modify these models to show their new learnings around our major topics. The small presentations are a key component for peer-teaching and social engagement round learning.
