QKS students love to learn! I want to be able to provide real-world experiences for my students so that I can prepare them for life outside of the classroom. I would like to request donations to be able to provide them with a classroom pet (guppies) to teach them responsibility and to improve class culture and engagement. The nets, plastic tanks, and fish food will aid in developing responsible learners in the classroom.
QKS students deserve to have a clean and safe learning environment.
Therefore I am requesting a rug and vacuum for the entire building to be able to use to clean our rugs and classrooms. Students will be able to sit on the rug while doing whole class work and while doing small group or partner work. Students also should not have to worry about food to fill their stomachs, therefore I'd also like to provide a snack to any student who needs it.
Oftentimes throughout the school year, students need to stay indoors for recess due to the weather. I want to be able to provide fun and engaging, hands-on activities for the students to have fun with during indoor recess. Students will be able to work cooperatively to play with the Lego, building blocks, and magnet tiles. This will help keep them engaged and learning throughout the day.
