Classroom Pencil Sharpener and Printer for Urban Students
My students need a pencil sharpener in order to keep their pencils ready for use. We also need a printer to print out student work in a timely fashion.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Teich's classroom raised $160

My Students
I am a new teacher, teaching third grade in an urban setting. Many of my students require accomodations to help them learn.
Some students come to school without the appropriate materials, and it is my job to ensure they have a successful day.
It is my job to teach these students no matter what type of home they come from and to keep them motivated to succeed. These students are amazing, and they come to school every day ready to learn and with a smile on their faces.
My Project
Students will use the pencil sharpener to keep their pencils sharp and ready for use. PSSA's are this year and whichever student has the job of "pencil sharpener" will be responsible for keeping the pencils sharp.
The students will greatly benefit from these supplies!
The printer will be used in one of my centers where students will be working on writing workshop and then printing their work right in the classroom, as there is no computer lab. The students will be able to then display their printed-out works around the classroom. This will give them a sense of ownership and pride.
