My students will benefit from this classroom carpet because it will allow them to sit on the floor while we are having whole group instruction while using the Smart Board. They will be able to sit with their pairing partners and move freely to different small groups. Since I have young students, they get bored sitting at desks all day and need stimulation. Having a clean carpet will allow them to move and learn in a different setting. Donations will improve my classroom tremendously. It will brighten it up and allow my students to move from their desks to the carpet for some instruction. Having a carpet will also take some of the echo out of the room while I am teaching and students are learning. It will give the room a feeling of safety and comfort while they are working! They will be able to sit on the carpet while we have morning meeting and also during instruction.
