My Project

My students are resilient, ambitious, and full of potential. Many of them come to school facing challenges that extend far beyond academics—hunger, inconsistent access to basic hygiene items, and household stress. Despite these obstacles, they show up ready to learn, participate, and grow. I want my classroom to be more than just a place for instruction; I want it to be a safe, supportive space where students feel cared for and equipped for success.

Meeting basic needs helps eliminate barriers to learning.

When students aren’t distracted by hunger or discomfort, they can focus on the lesson, engage with their peers, and truly thrive.

By helping me build this pantry, you’re not just giving snacks or supplies—you’re giving comfort, dignity, and a message that says, “You matter.”
