My students need a classroom mail organizer, a teaching easel and new Common Core books.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Staab's classroom raised $1,055

My Students
I teach a 3rd/4th grade multi-age classroom in an urban school district in Washington. Many students at our school come from low socioeconomic backgrounds and need all of the resources they can get at school.
I am a fifth year teacher moving to a new classroom with a new grade.
It will be my first year teaching 3rd/4th graders and I am seeing the need for new classroom furniture. Having left behind a bulk of the classroom furniture in my old room, there are essential classroom supplies that are needed. My students need to stay organized with their take-home materials and a bigger space for their mail.
My Project
In the project, I am requesting a teaching easel where I will be teaching a majority of my lessons at the rug. With a teaching easel, I can easily clip chart paper and use the white board to teach students concepts. There is a storage area underneath the white board and this will be useful to store supplies while I am teaching. I have also requested a classroom organizer where students will store their take-home materials and it will serve as their mailbox.
Thank you for reading about our project.
With all of the transition my students will experience as they to move to a new classroom with less classroom furniture, it will help tremendously to have a few key materials funded for our new room. Thank you again for any support for our project.
