This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Please help us create a more cohesive classroom environment by helping us make our space more neutral. With the items on this list, it will help us minimize stimulation for our students that become easily distracted with the super bright colors that are found in our room, that is why we are requesting a new solid color rug and more cohesive organizational tools.
Our environment is the 4th teacher in the classroom, having a space that is clearly organized and neutral in color will help set the tone for learning in our amazing classroom with book storage bins and clear bins for our classroom supplies which would help our students become self sufficient in finding all that they need independently with these bins!
Additionally, the different colored notebooks in our cart will help our students with their organizational skills as each subject will be color coded. We are looking forward to having our students focused and ready to learn with these materials that are to help ensure their independence going forward in their schooling by providing them with skills that are transferable to all their future years in education.
Again, your generosity knows no bounds and this will help create a more cohesive, independent, and distraction free environment for our amazing group of second grade learners.
