Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our kindergarten students are eager to learn and are full of questions! They love coming to school each day and are always ready to try new things!
We want to create an environment where our students feel comfortable and can have fun learning and exploring!
They love to participate in hands-on and engaging activities.
We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! They are an incredible group, and we are so lucky and thankful to have a group of learners that are excited and ready to learn!
My Project
I would love my kindergarteners to have the opportunity to be engaged in meaningful learning stations which will include: a variety of phonics skills, beginning writing activities, sight words, counting, addition, and subtraction. They will be able to be actively engaged, while being able to use the small easel, magnetic board, and big book holder!
Young children are naturally curious and eager learners.
I'm hoping to enrich my environment by helping my students move easily around our classroom to explore a variety of learning stations.
I want our students to continue to be excited about coming to school to learn! They are our future!
