My Project
Organization is key in any classroom! I have recently had to move to a new classroom after 13 years in the same room, and I have decided it is time to organize the new room in a way that will keep all materials neat, orderly, and easily accessible to students. Time should not be wasted looking for materials, manipulatives, and the necessities for learning. I want my students to be able to access what they need easily. It will also show them that practicing organization can make things easier and more efficient in their own lives.
Zipper pouches will ensure manipulatives are ready to go during math time!
The zipper pouches I am asking for are sturdy, sheer, and big enough to hold place-value cubes/rods, plastic chips, protractors, and more. They will allow me to store them easily in an area where students can go grab what they need as they work to solve math problems.
The rolling storage cart with 20 drawers will house all of our paper. I want writing paper, drafting paper, graph paper, cardstock paper, and all other types of paper to be stored in one convenient place where students can go and select the paper they need for the writing, science, and art assignments they will do during the year. The drawers will be labeled, so students can easily find the correct paper needed as they learn.
