This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many students don't have the skills to be organized. Giving them the correct tools is important to be successful at school. Having an organized classroom is super important for their executive functioning skills. Having book bins or baskets will help them find books quickly. Being able to keep their supplies in one area is important to find the correct materials. Chart paper allows for collaborative learning and thinking. Being a teacher for the past 16 years, I have learned that not all students learn from a chair. There are many students that need that opportunity to have flexible seating to meet their needs.
