My Project
I am second year teacher and I got displaced from my last school. When I got to my new school, our budget didn't cover for a lot of our supplies. I am in need of a carpet, whiteboards, and chair pockets. Those are my biggest needs. everything else on my list (dry erase supplies, paint, brushes, art tray, kinetic sand, bricks, magnetic coins and bills) is something that my class would enjoy but is not a necessity.
This things will help my students be more organized, focus better, and have less distractions in the classroom.
My students are such hard workers and they come from a variety of backgrounds. I want to provide them with things that can make their learning more enjoyable and more structured.
My goal is to get more of our necessities met while not braking my own bank trying to do so. I love my students so much, but student loan repayments do not allow for a lot of wiggle room for our class needs.
