It is hard to switch a grade level letalone two years in a row. Your donations have helped me establish routines in the classroom and added a little brightness to our days. \r\n\r\nMy third grade students absolutely love our new carpet. I was strapped for cash last year and with building budgets being lowered a little each year, there were not many options. I ordered some foam tiles that connected together like puzzle pieces. It was awful. it turned out to be the biggest distraction in the classroom. Now, I have a fun and bright rug with enough space for all 22 of my students. It is truly the first thing people see when they walk in. \r\n\r\nThe other huge ticket item in our order were the chair pockets. I have tried the book boxes that continuously fall over and having mail boxes for their books. nothing worked. I had seen so many teachers using chair pockets and I loved them, but the price did not love me. I am so grateful to have these this year. The kids love having everything right at their seats and not having to move all around to get stuff. It also eliminates the chance of them getting off task while getting their supplies. Students will use a form and build a decorative bowl using a variety of coil shapes.
