Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I wanted to give an understanding of what would help out my classroom. I am a Visual Arts Social Studies teacher. I teach U.S. History, African American Studies, Ethnic Studies, and Health (I received a second certification to teach health because our Health teacher for the Magnet retired and a Magnet Health teacher was needed).
Colored pencils- I have purchased more than currently reqursted on my own 3 years ago.
Sadly, I need to replenish the stock.
Sharpener- need a new one. I have self-purchased 3 and this newest one someone put an eraser in. It is working but not for long.
Skin tone pencils- I currently do not have any of them and would be put to great use for our art.
Glue bottles- Refillable bottles are a great option for our glue needs in my classroom.
Gallon of glue- This is needed to fill the empty bottles.
Trashcans- the ones provided by the school have holes and I am on a list to get new ones, but that could take an extremely long time. Otherwise I need to purchase them on my own.
