Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The current white boards we have are very old and scratched up and we use them constantly during our math time. Getting new ones will provide my students with less distractions during our work time. I also want to update my classroom library with more books. We have silent reading time every morning and so many students gravitate towards our class library. I would like to continue to encourage this by providing more options for them. My class gathers points throughout the school year when they show great behavior. We have already used most prizes for this year, so replenishing these prizes will really help our point system.

By donating to our project, you are not only providing resources that we really need, but you are also creating a better learning environment for our students.

The connecting kit will be used during our makerspace time on Friday's, which the students love. The mailboxes will be used for storing important handouts and work that will be taken home.
