My Students

I am able to teach in the school I attended as a student. I love working in the small town area. Students are creative and really get to know each other over the years. They love getting to know their teachers and asking about our lives. Team building is one of my favorite activities to see groups develop and work together. We make due with what we have most of the time but would love more resources to use in our classroom!

My Project

Over the years items become worn out and new ideas require different items. Students often present in front of the class and a podium would be extremely helpful since we do not have a good place to do this when they have items to hold or present. Seat sacks would help clear off the tables to provide work space since we have 3 students at each table plus everything they bring in from their lockers. Basic supplies such as markers, paper, scissors, rulers, and glue would be beneficial to our classroom for projects since our school does not have an art class. Many times we are limited by the supplies and I hope to provide more opportunities for creativity.
