This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Classroom materials such as sand used for practicing letters and words, chart paper, and dry erase markers are necessities that make teaching and learning more accessible.

These basic classroom materials will help enhance the inclusive classroom I strive to create.

Students who need support with focusing and attention can use the fidget kick bands that remind them to stay present with their tasks. The wobbly cushions promote sensory integration while giving my students a comfortable floor seating options.

As the classroom teacher, materials such as the sticky easel pad and markers help me create supportive anchor charts of academic content we are targeting. Teachers often have to supply their own preferred materials-having these supplies will bring much relief.

Children also love and get excited by little things like scented stickers and play dough-incentives that entice and excite them. I have seen how excited my students feel when they get to have things they enjoy.
