My Project
The fashion designer "toy" is a great manipulative to enhance my students' creativity when we study clothes for our unit on Clothing. All of the tree puzzles will be helpful so when we have our unit on Trees, my students can see what all of the different trees look like while building them hands-on. The microscopes will come in handy for our unit on Insects when my students find insects and bugs on the yard and want to observe them. The microscopes will also come in handy during our unit on Trees so my students can closely observe tree parts. The classroom closet organizer would be a great addition to the classroom so that the dress-up clothes are out for display and easy to access. Currently they are in a bin and it's hard for the children to sort through the different costumes. The recording buzzers are great for phonics and math instruction when my students work independently.
My goals for this project are to provide my students with hands-on materials to make learning more meaningful.
My students are special to me because, well, they are my students and I care for them very much.
