My Students
"A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination, and instill a love of learning." by Brad Henry
I am currently a 3rd grade Exceptional Education Teacher within a collaboration classroom.
I teach in a low-income, urban, Title I school. The population of the school is majority African Americans students. My students face a lot of challenges on an every day basis, but it does not stop them from learning and being the best they can be. I enjoy teaching each and everyone of them. My students are sweet and wonderful kids who want to learn as much as they can. They will definitely put a smile on your face!
My Project
By buying these materials the students will be able to correct or enhance student’s pencil grips. Student who write with a triangular pencils tends to have better handwriting and spelling. The markers will be used to make words colorful and fun to look at. Students will be happy to use the pencil for each subject to continue practicing their pencil grip and handwriting on a daily basis. Making sure we have enough pencils to last us throughout the school would be a great asset to the class. Students will develop routines and procedures to know how to use them. Pencils are already hard to come by but a specific pencil will make them cherish it more. The pencil sharpener will be used to keep the pencils nice and sharpened without worrying about how to sharpen this specific pencil.
