My students are energetic and eager little learners who come to me each day with a desire to learn. My students are children of military parents and deal with so many more situations than most adults do due to the deployment of parents, moving every two to three years, and having to start over again.
They are sponges just waiting to soak up whatever information that they can.
I strive daily to provide them with a safe and inviting learning environment and make learning fun and relevant for them.
My Project
Our classroom needs a new paper cutter to use in our classroom, white cardstock for making learning centers, crayons to replace the broken ones, Velcro coins for center signs and learning activities, and photo paper for our photo printer. We are in our classroom with our students from the minute they walk in until the time they leave. We have no official planning time so we must work in the classroom to get materials ready for the lessons that I teach each week. We have gone through our supply of crayons and we are always using the other items to make learning centers for our kids to use. Having these supplies in the classroom would help make working in the classroom easier.
