This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The school year is almost over! It’s nearly time to begin preparing for a new year. Each year, there are consumable resources that need to be purchased for new students. These things include colored pencils, construction paper, pencil pouches, erasers, markers, binders, and more! As I’m working to prepare my classroom over the summer, it’s helpful to have the supplies I’ll need to get started.

When students have their own personal materials, like pencils, art supplies, erasers, and a place to store it all, they take more ownership over the care of those things.

This year I found that having individual sets of supplies for each student is very impactful. With your help, I can provide these supplies for my next year’s students!
