This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year, I have the privilege of teaching 11th-grade Advisory at Trinidad Garza Early College High School, a unique campus where students take on the rigorous challenge of completing college-level coursework while still in high school. My primary goal is to support my students not only in succeeding academically—particularly in their dual-credit courses—but also in developing the social, emotional, and life skills they need to thrive beyond the classroom.

The supplies I am requesting for this project are intended to help create a welcoming and calming space where students can recharge, focus, and feel supported.

By stocking our advisory classroom with essential materials, I aim to foster an environment that promotes both academic success and personal well-being.
