As a teacher in an inner city, public school district, our students are faced with more challenges than any student should ever experience before third grade, both inside and outside the classroom. Supporting today's students is an expensive burden to carry. To do so, I work extremely hard to provide my students with all of the classroom materials that they deserve. Doing this includes creating classroom materials as well as purchasing materials using money out of my own pocket! Although this can be extremely costly, my students are worth every penny (and more!)
My students are deserving, talented, and eager to learn!
They are hard working Montessori students growing in a hands-on, interactive, student-based environment. This year, the focus in our classroom is on building our science and math curriculum. These materials will do just that!
My Project
Each of these materials will be utilized by my 25 Montessori students not only for this year but for many years to come! This project includes math manipulatives, classroom books and literacy resources, and materials such as magnets, pulleys and levels for hands-on cultural studies. These materials will provide my students with the valuable books, science tools, math flash cards and much, much more that they truly deserve!

They deserve these materials and so much more. Each year, I search for supplies to make our classroom better and to help make the curriculum more interactive. These materials will add to last year's materials and will be a part of next year's curriculum as well.
