Classroom Materials for Low Income Students

Help me give my students useful new materials to use within the classroom

My Project

Pencil holders - These will be very useful for making sure my students do not have their pencils in their hand when I am teaching. This will provide my kids with a spot to place their pencil and eliminate them falling on the ground.

Pencil cases - So many of my kids are without a pencil holder.

This seems to cause a huge mess, since desks are moved around frequently which causes them to fall on the ground. These cases will help to ensure that all kids have a place to keep their belongings.

Math/Multiplication flashcards - These will be used during our small group instruction to help students with their automaticity of facts. Hopefully this alleviates stress and pressure throughout the year.

My students are motivated and want to learn. These materials will help make this goal a reality.
