This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students need the basics in order to apply their learning and share their work. Having notebooks and pencils to take notes with, folders to hold onto their packets and reference sheets, as well as all those other often-forgotten tools of learning like highlighters and dry-erase markers, makes all the difference in their classwork. Their School Zone math workbooks have useful fluency to practice during our small group math work. These students will be able to organize and demonstrate their work so much better with all the necessary tools on hand.
Every year, my students deserve to start the year confidently with new materials they can utilize respectfully and diligently.
The basic classroom materials needed to complete our classwork are the most essential for students to meet their potential. Having two classes of students that come to me every day makes the supply need bigger and run out more quickly. I really appreciate your help in getting my students what they need to succeed.
