My Students
This September, New York City is reopening public school buildings for classes to be held in-person. Our students in the Bronx deserve to have safe and clean classrooms and spaces to learn - and you can help!
As my co-teachers and I re-imagine our classroom and educational campus to facilitate learning and support our students amid this global pandemic, we have highlighted some essential practices and supplies to a promote cleanliness and maintain social distancing in the school community.
My Project
Every child deserves a place to learn where they feel seen and valued.
Regardless of a student's circumstance or background, these essential materials will enable us to provide a safe learning environment for our diverse learners where each child can be successful.
★ Disinfectant materials to wipe down the classroom space every day after daily instruction.
★ Pens/pencils, boards, charts, and markers for each student labeled with their individual names.
★ Taped markers and plexiglass to direct and maintain social distancing.
★ Emergency supply of PPE for students who misplace/lose/destroy their masks, or gloves.
Regardless of a student's circumstance or background, these essential materials will enable us to provide a safe learning environment for our diverse learners where each child can be successful.
