My Project

Studies show that students need hands-on learning to help them understand abstract concepts. When teaching these concepts, I love to provide my students with all they need. However, this can be costly for Title one schools. I believe that this should not be a barrier to students' learning.

Concrete learning is what our young students need.

I will use the 'Lakeshore Place Value Write & Wipe Boards' during math to help my students understand complex math problems. Furthermore, the 'Lakeshore English Language Development Writing Center' and 'Lakeshore Touch & Read, Write & Wipe Cards to enhance small group and independent center time with meaningful hands-on learning.
