My Project

We operate on a token economy in class. My students can earn tickets by demonstrating expected behaviors, actively participating in lessons, attendance, class jobs, compliments from other teachers and staff in the building, and many other things.

In order to encourage my students to continue to work hard to earn tickets, the tickets need to keep their value for them.

This project is to stock the class store. The students can use their tickets to buy snacks when they are hungry, fidgets they can use in class, journals or sketchbooks for my writers and artists, or a treat when they need a pick me up.

The students can also purchase none tangible prizes such as picking their place in line, eating lunch in the class with a friend, positive call home to their parents, show and tell, and many more.
