My Project

This will be my fifth year teaching. This is the third school that I have worked at in my career, and it will be the last. This is the only place I have felt at home. Now that I feel settled, I finally have the desire to make it feel homey as well. I want my classroom to feel inviting. I want it to be comfortable for my students and for myself. The school provided me with paint, and I have painted the room. I also painted a mural on the wall of a floral tree.

I want to cover some of the fluorescent lights, hang solar-powered lights, and also hang vines.

I’d like to get a desk chair for myself since I sit there often for grading, and also a rolling desk that will adjust for my height. I am vertically challenged. God has blessed me with a wonderful career and a wonderful place to work. It is such a welcoming environment across the school, and I want to extend that into my classroom. I appreciate any help I will receive. Thank you all very much for your consideration.
