Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
It's commonly known that students typically won't learn until they know how much the teacher cares. They need safe and welcoming learning environments before they're able to engage in a lesson. The posters and banners in this project will be given away to teachers starting their first year in the classroom in the fall.
Making a classroom environment both welcoming and encouraging requires a few staple items many first-year teachers don't usually acquire for some time.
We know the last few years have not been consistent for our teens and would love to help give a little extra support to those coming into the profession. Any help to provide these materials to our new teachers is greatly appreciated.
