Help me give my students have a more welcoming, calming, friendly, and supplied classroom with a beanbag chair, rug, diffuser, and other supplies.

My Project

This project has multiple parts to it. The first part is for getting some needed classroom supplies. Every year, classroom supplies run out and everyone could use more sticky notes, pencils, erasers. I allow the students to use the pencils and erasers when they need them and to keep them. Also included in the basic classroom supplies is the room air freshener and the desk reed diffusers. The air fresheners allow the room to smell good and the kids don’t complain about people farting or bad smells as much which lets us have less debates over that and more learning. The tissues are included in basic classroom supplies because they will help with stopping the spread of germs and we always run out of.

The other part of the project would allow for the classroom to have a "break" space in the reading corner.

The rug and bean bag chair would allow for the students to have a reading corner. I also want to add the motivation signs such as the reading one to the reading corner to make it feel like a safe and calming space for them to sit, relax, and read a book. Another supple in my cart, the black table cloths allow for parts of my room to be known they are off limits to the students. I used red table cloths this year and students did not go to the areas for student folders or teacher desk nearly as much this year. It is helpful to make sure they are not getting into areas that are not for them. The locks also will help in this regard because there are a lot of items such as the rewards for the classroom that I need to have locked up safe.
